Zaka Ashraf Proactive Against New Government Interference in Cricket Board

Pakistan cricket board chairman Zaka Ashraf made his point very clear regarding any interference of new government in cricket board of Pakistan. While giving interview to a British broadcasting organization that ICC will take strict action if government tries to interfere in cricket board and if someone force fully will try to take things in hand in reaction ICC can cancel the membership on cricket board upon such action. Answering to the question regarding his selection as PCB chairman 3 days before election zaka Ashraf said that I got selected according to the rules and regulations of ICC and according to ICC three days were remaining to select chairman so it has nothing to do with the country elections.

PCB chairman added that those who are talking upon my selection as PCB chairman doesn’t know the actual situation and if they know then they are doing for their personal benefits. PCB chairman added that incase if ICC cancels PCB membership due to any interference of new government its impact will be directly on Pakistan cricket. Zaka Ashraf was very confident that his team will do well in ICC champions trophy and hope that Pakistan team will come back as champions.
