Whom people are going to vote?
The stage is set for re-election in NA-122 on 11th of October 2015. Dawn News during a survey asked many local people of NA-122 who they are going to vote for. The survey turned out to be a tough one with some people vowing to vote for Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and some said that they are going to vote for Abdul Aleem Khan.
Why people will vote for Ayaz Sadiq?
When asked why they will vote for Ayaz Sadiq, the answers were very narrow. No one had any idea why they are going to vote for Ayaz Sadiq. Some said that he has made roads in this constituency and this is the reason they are going to vote for Ayaz Sadiq. Some said that he has done work in the past and when asked what work Ayaz Sadiq has done, many had no clue what to mention. Some even said that they are old supporters of PML(N) and whether their party delivered or not, they are still going to vote for PML(N).
Why people will vote for Abdul Aleem Khan?
Now when asked why they will vote for Ayaz Sadiq, there were only two reasons. The first reason for voting Abdul Aleem Khan was none other than PTI Chairman Imran Khan. People trust Imran Khan and will do anything to support him without thinking twice. Second reason for voting Aleem Khan is the fact that people are fed up of old faces and want someone new to come up-front. They also expressed that daily usage commodities are getting expensive day by day and nothing is on track. Security problem was also mentioned.
Who Will Win NA-122 Re-Election 2015?
Now it is a tough call to declare anyone winner here but reviewing the state of mind of people in NA-122 and the way campaigns are running in the constituency, it seems that PML(N) has more loyal supporters in this area and PTI being a new party and not having been in government yet is lagging behind. Though PTI will give a tough time to PML(N) in this constituency but PML(N) with all kind of experience in previous elections will somehow manage to tackle the situation and win the election once again in NA-122. PTI has not been able to wake the people up with the political awareness they expected and this in my opinion is going to cost them this election. It will take lot more time before people of the nation wake up and bring the real change.
