There was once a time when Pakistani dramas were regarded the best dramas at least in Indo-Pak if not the whole world.

The quality of the acting and script was the major ingredient of these dramas. Some of the dramas even casted new actors and their acting and script, story and many other ingredients made them a huge success. For instance drama serial Dhuwan and Alpha Bravo Charlie are still remembered by most of us. Both of them had new cast and they were huge success.

Now it seems that Pakistani drama industry has lost the mojo and it is following a new strategy. Yes you guessed it right. “Vulgarity” is becoming the major ingredient in recent Pakistani dramas.

When it comes to vulgarity in Pakistani dramas, it doesn’t necessarily mean to pose semi-nude. U.S, Turkish and UK dramas as well as Indian dramas can afford to pose nude or semi-nude in front of camera as their culture might allow them to this extent.

In Pakistani culture, a scene with kissing and hugging is quite unacceptable and sexy dialogues or European style dressing might as well be considered vulgar. It is not our tradition and culture.

Following are a couple of scenes where very famous actors Mehwish Hayat and Shamoon are hugging and in the second scene Shamoon has wrapped his arms around his currently divorced wife Javeria Abbasi and kissed her neck.

It is a notable fact that Shamoon Abbasi is not only acting romantic in these scenes, but he has proved over-romantic in his real life as well. At various blogs where posts about him are published, many comments can be seen on those blogs where commenters have called him a womaniser.

After divorcing Javeria Abbasi and Humaima Malik, he has married twice again. No wonder that if moral less people like him are in Pakistani drama industry, it will get vulgar for sure.
