Ufone Summer Internship Program 2014

One of the most favorite telecom companies of Pakistan, Ufone has taken the initiative to train Pakistani youth from different institutions of Pakistan by launching the latest edition of ‘Summer Internship Program 2014’. This program has been successfully run in the previous years.
This campus drive will start on 12th of April 2014 and will be concluded at 24th of April 2014. During this campus drive, students from various institutions from all over Pakistan like NUST, GIK, NUCES, FAST, Bahria University, UET, NED University and LUMS will be recruited for summer internship.
The selection process will be a tough one and will be highly competitive. After the initial assessments and interview, students will be given project based internships.
Syeda Kiran Altaf, Head of Recruitment in Ufone expressed her views about this initiative by saying that
SIP 2014 will be more competitive than last year; we try to give these kids as real an experience as can be, but ultimately, it’s the interns that make it a great initiative
In order to keep the spirits high, students who perform well will be given shields, certificates and other prizes as well. In addition, those internees who perform exceptionally well during the internship period will be offered a job at Ufone.
Through the campus drive and this internship program, young and talented individuals will be able to face the challenges of a very competitive corporate environment in Pakistan. Moreover this drive is a way to recognize the immense talent that is present in the youth of Pakistan.
