Earlier Meesha Sahfi appear in Hollywood Mira Nairs which is from Mohsin Hamid’s novel ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist alongside Kate Hudson, Liev Schreiber, Riz Ahmed, Kiefer Sutherland and Om Puri. She also played a role in Bilal Lashari’s ” Waar “, as yet in the preproduction stages. She has been signed for a Hollywood production named ‘The Tournament of Shadows’, a biopic set in the 1800’s The movie is said to be directed by Jamil Dehlvi.
Meesha Shafi was born to Pakistani actress Saba Hameed and Syed Pervaiz Shafi . She is the granddaughter of famous Pakistani Urdu Writer Hameed Akhtar. Meesha Shafi started her career with modeling and then jumped into singing giving the lead vocals. she give hit performance in Jugni spearheaded by Arif Lohar. Meesha Shafi also worked in television programs such as “Muhabbat Khawab ki Soorat” and “Ye Zindagi to woh nahi”.
