Tahira Aurangzeb Pakistani Politician

Tahira Aurangzeb is a famous politician of Pakistan. She was born on 4^th March 1949 in Mian Channu. She got her early education from Government high school Multan. In her matriculation exams, she topped her school. Early she wanted to become a doctor, but she ended up in politics. She did her Masters in political science from new campus of Punjab University in 1976 because she was very much inspired from her teacher Dr. Anwaar Saeed, head of the department of international relations at Punjab University.

She married Raja Aurangzeb and has 3 children. Marium Aurangzeb is one of her children. When it Ayub Khan’s rule was in its final era, Tahira Aurangzeb joined politics. She joined Pakistan Muslim League (N) and she is one of the pioneer members of her political party. And now she has a large range of responsibilities of the party. A list of her responsibilities is given below:

• President of PLM-N ladies wing
• Vice president of PLM-N Punjab
• General Secretary PML-N Central committee- ladies wing
• Chief Coordinator, ladies wing – all Pakistan

From this list one can know her importance, devotion, and dedication.

Besides her career, she has many likes and dislikes. She liked to watch movies and liked Sabiha Khanum and Santosh Kumar bur when they left movies Tahira also left watching movies. Similarly, she left watching cricket when Javed Miandad was retired because he was her favorite cricketer. She also likes to read books and magazines. “Aur Talwaar toot gai” by Nasim Hijazi is her favorite which is read by her many times. “Chattan” and “Tanzeem” are favorite magazines.  William Wordsworth, Ghalib. Faiz, Mir Taqi Mir, and Daagh Dehalvi are some of her favourite poets. She loves to listen to the songs sung by Lata, Noor Jehan, Mehdi Hassan, and Mukesh. She doesn’t use internet and also not have pet birds and animals because she hates to see them in cages.
