Shoaib Akhtar Diverts to Tablighi Jamaat

Regarded as the fastest bowler in the world also known as Rawalpindi Express, former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar was seen with Tablighi jamaat in Kohat. Shoaib Akhtar on this occasion expressed his feelings that he likes the region where Pathan people live. He told the people that he was not feeling well but as he promised to come, so he is here in-spite of being not well.
Shoaib Akhtar said that they have propagated all the way from Karachi to Kohat as to meet people and discuss about ALLAH. He praised Tablighi jamaat and said that this is not only the duty of Tablighi Jamaat but duty of all the believers. We all belong to ALLAH and it is everyone’s duty to call people towards ALLAH.
Shoaib Akhtar is not the first Pakistani cricketer who is inspired and associated with Tablighi Jamaat. Many famous names of Pakistan cricket team like Saeed Anwar, Saqlain Muhstaq, Shahid Afridi, Mushtaq Ahmad, Inzamam ul Haq, Muhammad Yousaf and some others also were inspired by the Tablighi Jamaat and are now spending their time with Tablighi Jamaat.
Shoaib Akhtar is seen regularly sitting with religious groups and he is very much involved with Moulana Tariq Jameel. It is good to see famous people like Shoaib Akhtar inspiring common people towards being practical Muslim. Moulana Tariq Jameel also met famous Bollywood Actor Amir Khan on couple of occasions and it was none other than Tariq Jameel who turned the life of Veena Malik around.
Needless to say that this trend of celebrities turning towards Tablighi Jamaat is quite a healthy one. No one can forget the contribution of famous singer Junaid Jamshed as well. He has been struggling for the cause along with Moulana Tariq Jameel for quite some time now.
