Shahid Afridi Will Lead Pakistan Team in World Cup 2015?

It seems that luck is once again giving Shahid Afridi a chance to lead Pakistani team in World Cup 2015. Nominated captain Misbah Ul Haq is injured till yet and due to the injury his participation in the Cricket World Cup 2015 is doubtful.

Shahid Afridi is anticipated as the replacing captain. Misbah carried a hamstring injury during the match against New Zealand in United Arab Emirates.

Misbah has not played a match till then as he is not fit to participate in any match. Countdown for the World Cup 2015 has started but Misbah is finding it hard to get rid of the injury.

Junaid Khan is also injured while magic spinner Saeed Ajmal might not make it to the mega event and now the injury of Misbah ul Haq might prove a big dent in the green shirts team.

Pakistan Cricket Board has also indicated that Shahid Afridi will lead the team if Misbah is not available. Pakistani team is due to leave for series against New Zealand and World Cup in New Zealand.

At this present point it is not clear that if Misbah is unfit to play the mega event, which player will replace him. Shahid Afridi has been showing the intent to lead the team on several occasions and injury of Misbah might give him another chance to lead Pakistan in World Cup 2015.
