Shahid Afridi Rejected News of British Newspaper

The most loved personality of Pakistan Shahid Khan Afridi is once again back in news as he has rejected the claim of British newspaper. The British newspaper claimed that super star of Pakistan and master of sixes Shahid Khan Afridi along with Umar Akmal were offered for spot fixing during series against England in 2011-12 which was played in Dubai. British newspaper also added that a person tried to reach Afridi in hotel in which team Pakistan was staying.

The person tried to communicate with Boom Boom but he ignored him and after that told ICC anti-corruption unit and team management. The story wrote by newspaper has been fully rejected by Shahid Afridi as he said that no bookie tried to contact me. Few recent cricketers of Pakistan are facing ban due to match and spot fixing, this ill disease of match and spot fixing has really damaged the worth of cricket and Afridi has never been part of any news relating to spot and match fixing.

Afridi known as Lala has never been in a controversy regarding spot fixing. Afridi is great leader and there are rumors that he will be captain of team Pakistan in world cup 2015. Boom Boom has also said that he might take retirement from cricket after 2015 world cup. Everybody in Pakistan wants to see him captaining the side for 2015 world cup as they have seen him as a captain during world cup 2014 and what a champion captain he is.
