Punjab government is working for the progress of the province and it is planning to replace the school bags of school going students into tablet PCs. These will be called as the student Punjab Government Tablets PC Scheme. Punjab government will soon start work at this scheme and it seems they copied the idea of one tablet per child the popular project. This project will be allowed for students from class 6 to class 10th. Rana Mashood Ahmed who is the provincial education minister of Punjab said that Punjab government is going to formulate the tablet PCs for school children’s and in this way the students will get rid from heavy bags and they can also learn the use of a computer and can make their country advance. He further said that all books included in the courses will be installed into the Tablets while each digital book would cost approximately Rs5000. Students will no need to carry books with them because all syllabi are already installed in their tablets. When He was talking with media, Rana Mashood Ahmed said that they have made an agreement with a British company and soon they will be shortlist the candidates for Punjab Government Tablets Scheme.

He said that a computer software company is assigned for this purpose and we will order the company according to the strength of students and then will distribute these Tablet PCs among student she said the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is serious about this project and we will soon start work on this project. He said that the agreement will be signed in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He said that the Punjab government has decided to distribute the tablets among the school students and we will start work on this project. Actually this large and good step by Punjab government is taken to end the system of text books and school bags from schools. The content of all books will be installed on the PCs and in this way all books will be digitized and each digital book will cost approximately 5000. He said that a British software company has nominated for this purpose and at the next meeting with the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif all necessary arrangements and total expenditure will be declared and the software company will start work ta this project. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is working for kids to get them rid of heavy school bags and he is giving tablets for school students and this is also a step towards the advancement when all schools, kids will learn about the new technology and also get rid form heavy bags they only have to bring the tablets with them in schools. All books included in the courses will be installed into the Tablets while each digital book would cost approximately Rs5000. This is a good step of the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif towards the advancement of technology and students will learns how to use computers in the school age even.
