On the special request of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Saudi Arabia has agreed to release more than 2000 Pakistani prisoners. This decision is made by Kingdom’s Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman to continue a friendly relation with Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said in a press conference with Muhammad Bin Salman that there are more than 3000 prisoners and they all are poor who have left their families behind to earn money for them. In response to this, the Crown prince clearly says that “we cannot say No to Pakistan” and he has ordered the immediate release of prisoners in kingdom jail. Crown Prince won the hearts of millions of Pakistani people when he said that ‘consider me Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia’.

Imran Khan further said that most of them are labors who travel every year to Saudi Arabia for working on construction sites or as domestic helpers. After the orders from Crown prince, Information Minster Fawad Chaudhry confirms this news that more than 2000 Pakistani prisoners from Saudi jails are released. This decision is appreciated by everyone especially the families of those people who were in jail; they thank Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi Crown Prince for their efforts.

Muhammad Bin Salman who visited Pakistan for two days loved the hospitality from Pakistan. He promised to deliver “whatever we can do” for Pakistanis who are living in his country. He said that we want to help Pakistan because they are facing a painful balance of payment crises. This is the reason they signed investments deals of more than $20 bn with Pakistan. The visit of Crown prince was very successful, and both the countries promised each other to continue their relationship.
