The rapid spread of the coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia, 36 new cases reports leading total to 274 coronavirus cases. The Saudi Press Agency reported repeating the Ministry of Health as addressing in the statement that the new 17 infected people cases came from Spain, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, India, Kuwait, British, Pakistan, United State of America, and Morocco. The other 19 people get the virus through social interaction with previous cases. Saudi Arabia has confirmed five cases of coronavirus all of those five persons currently came back from Iran. The ministry declared that the total number of COVID-19 cases reported in the kingdom is 274 cases while 8 cases recovered completely and the rest of the cases are safe and out of danger.

The ministry declared no COVID-19 death as yet. In this corona security count, Saudi Arabia has temporarily banned the daily 5 times prayer and weekly Friday prayers inside and outside the mosque to restrict the spread of coronavirus. Saudi Arabia has also banned its local people for making the pilgrimage to Makkah, having earlier banned for foreigners. The area around the stone Kaaba was locked on Thursday for sanitizing the whole area to control the spread of coronavirus.

They have taken excessive measures already. In addition to closing Mosques, they have stopped international flights, close down all shopping malls, schools, restaurants, public places, also urge people to stop going to works and stay at home. The country has also advised people not to use paper money. It was also recommended not to travel between major cities. Holy areas were all sanitized properly. Moreover, 54,000 prisoners who had tested negative were released to stop it extending in jails.

Meantime, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman said that the Kingdom will take measures to control its spread and advised their people to work together to challenge the epidemic. King Salman also comprehend that it was for the first time in history until now that we are going through this difficult period time. But we are fully aware that it will pass in spite of its severity, bitterness, and trouble”. The Monarch said on Thursday in a five-minute in on-screen address.
