Saeed Ajmal’s Bio-mechanic test on his bowling action will be revealed soon. Chances are that his new bowling action will be clear from ICC just in time and he can become a part of the World Cup 2015 squad.

Now the new controversy suggests that Pakistan Cricket Board wants him to represent the green shirts if he clears the ICC test. On the other hand the team management is not ready to include his name in the playing 15. Junaid Khan is already injured, Bilawal Bhatti has already conceded too many runs and his performance as a bowler is not satisfactory at all. Rahat Ali is very young with only one ODI match under his belt and cannot be relied upon.

In such circumstances, Saeed Ajmal’s inclusion in the squad is very important. Some rumors suggest that whether the action of Ajmal is cleared by ICC or not, Saeed Ajmal himself is not confident to play in the mega event and wants some time before coming to international cricket.

Moreover legend batsman Sunil Gavaskar has said that in the absence of Saeed Ajmal, Pakistani Cricket team is just like a train without engine. Ian Chappel another Cricketing legend termed Pakistani team as ice cream without topping.

World Cup 2015 is just days away and as usual Pakistan has not finalized the playing 15. Although some of the former Pakistani Cricketers have said that Rahat Ali’s spot in the team is justified but on the other hand some of the former Cricketers criticized this decision by saying that Rahat Ali is still inexperienced and Umar Gul, Shoaib Malik or Abdul Razaq should have been a part of the team.
