Time changes so do the people or better to say their priorities changes with passing time. Same is the story of Indian veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who has always been spewing anti-Pakistan comments, but as of now, he seems quite amicable towards Pakistan. The question is what made him change his mind so; it might be his film ‘Mulk, which seems to portray Muslims in the bright light. Although the film has failed to get clearance in Pakistan for screening, it seems that Mr Kapoor has altered his thoughts about his neighbouring country.

It should be noted here that Rishi Kapoor also took to Twitter to congratulate PTI Chief Imran Khan for his triumph in recent elections in Pakistan. Moreover, he also asked him to strengthen and better the relations with his country, India.  And nowadays after in an interview to Indian media Rishi Kapoor also showed his intent of visiting Pakistan; his comments came during the interview about his film ‘Mulk’. “I have been fortunate enough to visit Pakistan [he shot Heena there in 1990], but I would love to go there again,” said Rishi Kapoor.

It will be pertinent to mention here that Rishi Kapoor plays a pivotal role in his latest film ‘Mulk’ and that a Muslim man. The film tries to break stereotype regarding Muslims taken as a terrorist and also vows to strengthen the ties between Hindus and Muslims. The trailer of the film landed Rishi and the director of the film in hot waters due to pro-Muslim content, but that couldn’t hamper the film, it even actually worked to make this film more popular.

Surprisingly, the film ‘Mulk’ has failed to get clearance from the Pakistani film censor board as the film is said to be completely pro-Muslim.
