It is a common saying that if the issue is between two weak countries the United Nations will resolve the issue. If the issue is between one weak and one strong nation the weak nation disappears but if there is an issue between two powerful countries the United nations disappears such is the miserable situation of the United Nations. United Nations failed to resolve the issue of Kashmir between two nuclear countries Pakistan and India.

According to United Nations reports India has done severe human rights violations in Kashmir whereas the core purpose of United Nations is to encourage peace and prosperity but United Nations was unable to stop India from committing these crimes also according to United Nations resolutions the issue of Kashmir must be resolved as per the demands of Kashmiri people through plebiscite because of this resolution Pakistan despite having strong positions in 1948 war didn’t proceed further and ceased fire. But India didn’t follow the United Nations resolutions which it ought to do earlier placing a big question mark on the credibility of the United Nations.

Recently India has abolished article 370 A of Kashmir and has started ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Muslims Pakistan has again taken this case in United Nations but it looks like it will do nothing or very little to stop this massacre. Which has infuriated some Muslim and global leaders. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has given a strong statement on this issue by saying if United Nations cannot resolve the issue of Muslims countries than we will create our own United Nations of Muslims countries. Which shows the level of distrust United Nations is putting in itself by being able to influence strong countries to bend their ways. This statement has been welcomed by the Muslim world specially by Pakistan as turkey has stood through thick and thin with Pakistan. Pakistan has also asked United Nations to resolve this issue otherwise it could lead to dire consequences for the whole world.
