Ever the first season of the Pakistan Super League that was played back in 2016, the people of Pakistan longed to see all the matches happening in their own country. The efforts were there but there were several ordeals in the way of its success. Either it was the government of the foreign players that did not agree or it was the players who refused to come to Pakistan. It was all due to the fake security picture created by the international media that pushed away from the players and discouraged them to be a part of the cricket experience in Pakistan. The government and the PCB have finally taken up the matter more seriously and have announced after discussions with the owners that in the 2020 season of the PSL all the matches will be played in Pakistan.

As per the statement of the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Ehsan Mani, this is a moment of joy and pleasure for the people of Pakistan who are a great fan of cricket. Although there will be some foreign players with reservations regarding the stay in Pakistan they have ensured to convince them of full support and ease. PCB further hopes that those coming to Pakistan will never forget their experience in Pakistan.

He further added that the cricket experience will be shared among four major cities. Among these four are the cities of Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan. Each of these will host 13, 9, 8 and 4 matches respectively. Following these playoffs and the finals will be played in Lahore too. PSL is going to start in February next year. It is expected that all the stadiums especially those in the cities of Rawalpindi and Multan would be upgraded accordingly till then.

We are waiting for the PSL and also for the warm welcome of cricketers.
