Award ceremonies are a sense of appreciation to every artist whether they belong to the media industry, music industry or art industry. Pakistan International Screening Awards named as PISA happened on Dubai at Coca-cola arena on 7th February,2020
At every year PISA celebrated the work of Big and small screen, this year they have tough competition on television industry because of numerous serial like merely pass tum ho, ruswai, Ehd-e-wafa, Suno Chanda, Do bol and so on.
Pisa red carpet was all about star-studded night not because of Drama and television industry but it was full of the fashion industry, vloggers, influencers, music industry as well. Usually, most of all the industry traveled to Dubai on a private jet in which the names are Urwa Hocane, Farhan Saeed, Ushna shah, Momal Khan, Ali Zafar, Mahira Khan, Ayesha Omar, etc.
From the fraternity, we have witnessed some legendary actors like Jawed Shaikh, Maria Faisal, Omair Alavi, Tahira Firdous, Abida Parveen as well
Eye glazing event witnessed almost 10,000 audiences among all the stars in the city walk Dubai. The list of A-list actors and actresses were uncountable few big names are Humsafar star, Ali Zafar, Fawad Khan, Humayun Saeed, Sheryaar Munawar Siddique, Meera jee, Ayesha Omer.
Hosting was done by Maani Pakistani, Stings, Hareem Farooqi, and Jawed Shaikh.
Vasay Choudary has written the script for Pisa 2020. The nominations of best screening and best critics male and female were difficult to choose.
If we talk about the glamorous award night then they have performances of Aima Baig, Urwa Hocane, Momina Mustehsan, Emaan Ali, Farhan Saeed, and others. Not even drama industry PISA called this time YouTubers Like Mooro, Zaid Ali, Shaam Idrees, Froggy, Ducky Bhai and vloggers Hira and Hemayal as well
The award show has stolen by one and only Drama Merey Pass Tum Ho, they got the best actor Humayon Saeed, best actress Aiza Khan, best writer Khalil ur Rehman, best play director Nadeem Baig, best male critics Adnan Siddiqui, even original soundtrack goes to Merey pass Tum ho.
The Best actor went to Sheryaar Munawar for Parey hut love and actress to Mahira khan for Superstar , song goes to Chal Raha Hun by Umair Jaiswal.
Award ceremonies are very important for the industry for having such kind of entertaining gathering and influence people to appreciate the work of artist, media influenced the audience a lot by the content they write, by the performance they give , by the story they show to the spectators it hit their minds from the impactful stories either it is good or bad.
PISA 2020 was totally a hit to award industry and a good get together for the media fraternity, Hira Atiique got the best influencer award and Zaid Ali as the best vlogger. The lifetime achievement award is given to none other than Abida Parveen, the best designer was Hasan Sheheryaar Yasin HSY and the model was Sadaf Kanwal and Asim Raza got the Best Director for parey hut love.
