Pictures of General Raheel Sharif’s Saudi Arabia visit while performing Umrah

Pakistan’s Army Cheif General Raheel Sharif, today, performed Islamic religious ritual Umrah. The pictures rolling on the web tells that Raheel Sharif performed Hajj, while Saudi security personnel were around him at that time to provide ensure his security.

On 3rd November, Gen. Raheel Sharif arrived Saudi Arabia on an official two days visit, where he was received by Deputy Def Minister & Commander Saudi Land Forces.

COAS also met King of Saudi Arabia H M Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Naif Abdulaziz Al Saud and Defense Minister HRH Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. In this high profile meeting, both the dignitaries discussed the matters of mutual interest, security cooperation and bilateral defense.

Both the sides also agreed their part in stabilizing the region. Gen Raheel Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s commitment over protection of Harmain Ul Sharifain and territorial integrity of kingdom. On the occasion, Saudi King and Crown Prince also lauded Pak Army’s contribution towards eradicating terrorism and especially the ongoing Zarb-e-Azab.
