Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that they have started investigations of Ahmed Shehzad saying something religious to Tillakaratne Dilshan.

During the last ODI match with Sri Lanka, Ahmed Shehzad said something related to religion to Dilshan and it was recorded in the camera.

This recording was done when the players were returning to dressing room and Ahmed Shehzad was heard saying to Dilshan ‘If you are a non-Muslim and you become Muslim, none of your deeds matter and you will go directly to Jannat’.

In recording the answer of Tillakaratne Dilshan is not hearable but he said something to Ahmed Shehzad and in reply Ahmed Shehzad was heard saying ‘Then be ready to go into fire’.

PCB on this account asked Ahmed Shehzad to visit PBC Headquarters. General Manager Media PCB Mr. Agha Akbar told that Ahmed Shehzad told the board that it was a personal talk with Tillakaratne Dilshan and at the moment Board is investigating this matter.

Not only Pakistan lost this match but they lost the series to Sri Lanka as well. It seems that this was a personal discussion between both the players and Tillakaratne Dilshan did not initiate any kind of complaint on this issue.
