Pakistani Singer “Aima Baig” Interview

Pakistan has been blessed with some of the best singers in the world and this flow of singers just never stops. From Ali Azmat to Strings to Noori to Sahir Ali Bagga and Aima Baig, Pakistan has got it all. The latest singing sensation Aima Baig has taken everyone by storm with her singing skills. The best thing about Aima Baig is how easily she modulates her voice in different songs. Aima has garnered heaps of praise in the recent past specifically for her performance in Coke Studio. The singer appeared in Pakistan’s first ever digital show Rewind with Samina Peerzada.

During the interview, Aima revealed that she was named by her mother. The name Aima was chosen because her mother’s best friend was also named Aima. Born in Rahim Yar Khan, Aima said that she never really liked playing with dolls and was always different from the other kids. She also revealed that rather than playing with the dolls she would play with a square wooden plank. Aima said that she lives her life in the live concerts where the crowd is jumping and dancing on her songs. This is the time that she cherishes the most and that is why she likes concerts the most.

Aima also talked about her deceased mother and how her death changed her totally. She says that after her mother passed away she becomes serious and a lot more responsible than she was ever. She said that life after her mother has changed totally and she just cannot lose any other person that she loves because she has become weaker after her mother’s death.
