Kabaddi is known as the native game of the many countries of the sub-continent, Asia. It is a game that is played between the two/two teams of seven players per side. Recently, Pakistan and India were opposed to each other in the Kabaddi World Cup 2020 underway at Punjab Stadium, Lahore and what a huge win for Pakistan by 43-41 as it brings trophy home. We are so proud of our boys! This was for the first time in the Kabaddi match for Pakistan to bringing the trophy home. In the initials, Pakistan won the match and was elected to raid first. India is known to be the best Kabaddi player team from all around the globe but the trophy comes home this time.
Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Imran Khan, also congratulated Pakistan’s Kabaddi team. Prime Minister said, “Congratulations to the Pakistan Kabaddi team for winning the Kabaddi world cup after defeating India.” What a pride moment for every one of us! Also, Chief Minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdaar also appreciated team Kabaddi by saying, “Shahbash Shero….. A wonderful game of Kabaddi and well deserved victory by team Pakistan. Congratulations to every Pakistani celebrating this win today.”

How can we not mention our very genuine entertainer Nasir Khan Jan, as he tweeted for this match on his Twitter account? He tweeted, “Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi” with the hashtag #KabaddiWorldCup2020 which clearly tells his excitement for the match.
In the first half, India maintained its lead for which they won 24-18. While the second half was different from the first one as both the teams tried their best and fought through the hardpoints. At the one stage in the match, the game was drawled between 33-33 and 34-34 which was a huge intense situation. People could not make any suggestions that what is going to happen. But, the green shirts took this way too seriously and BOOM! Took it to 35-34 under the captaincy of Muhammad Irfan Mana and ended up bringing the trophy home. What a great match. What a great team. What a great stadium. It always feels so best to win something in their own homeland, so do green shirts did. We give our heartiest congratulations to team Kabaddi Greens for this win. No doubt, this is something more than huge. PROUD GREEN ALWAYS!
