The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has offered Pakistan to boost up its export and give access to its labor market’s database for the workforce portal to the Emirates. Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari said Pakistan is all set to digitally connect its workforce portal with the United Arab Emirates. The offer of Link down digital platform was broadened by UAE Minister of Human Resources, Nasser Bin Thani Al Hameli during a meeting with Special Assistant to Prime Minister on foreign Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfikar Ali Bukhari on subsidiaries of 5th ministerial sitting of Abu Dubai Dialogue. The two ministers of Pakistan and UAE recalled the historic friendly relations between the two countries and emphasized on further issues these with the direction set by the leaders of both.

The initiative would provide Pakistan up-dated information on job opportunities in the UAE’s labor market, besides enabling it to train the work portal as per the demand of the market. Syed Zulfikar Ali Bukhari informed his counterpart that Pakistan wants to integrate a digital platform with UAE for making sure a fair and transparent recruitment process, besides limiting the cost.

The SAPM apprises on the recent efforts made by Pakistan to digitally connect its workforce platform with the UAE Ministry of Human Resources. Both countries agreed to work closely to see this through the proposal. Further, he says, Pakistan is ready to link its digital platform with the United Arab Emirates. The SAPM hopes that digital connectivity would play an important role in improving employment opportunities for Pakistanis in the United Arab Emirates.

More to this, this cooperation will minimize the cost of recruitment and will make the process of recruitment fair, transplant and efficient. The SAPM also stressed out on the importance of empowerment of skill sets in line with the United Arab Emirates’ job market requirement and further future puissant of the workplace. The UAE minister acknowledged the importance of Pakistan’s workforce in the development. It was also decided to prepare a three-year plan for the recruitment of the Pakistani workforce.
