Pakistan to Face India In First Match of World Cup 2015

World Cup 2015 is still far away but its excitement has already started as the schedule for the world cup has been announced and you know what ? Pakistan will open its world cup battle against India. Yes Pakistan will play its first match of world cup 2015 against India. What a start for Pakistan for the world cup. The excitement and thirst for the world cup has increased after watching this tie.  playing against India so far had been a nightmare for Pakistan as men in green has face loss in all matches of the world cup they have played so far against India.  It all started at 1992 world cup where these two faced each other for the first time in world cup. The match was won by India.

Later in world cup 1996 these two met again in quarter final of the world cup where after a sensational match India won and moved to Semi final. The teams came head to head again in 1999 world cup in which Pakistan made it to the finals but has lost against India in super six round. Then came world cup 2003 in which again Pakistan lost to India in a pool match in that world cup many Pakistani stars said good bye to cricket world.

Men in blue didn’t met men in green world cup 2007 but they met again in Semi final of the world cup 2011 and what a draw that was the game was played in India and there was lots of resistance by some political parties that Pakistan should not go to India to Play match. This time round every Pakistani is praying for a win against India. If we overall record of matches played between these two Pakistan is very much ahead in wins against India but in world cup the luck isn’t on Pakistan’s side.
