Pakistan Idol Zammad Baig Received Prize from Geo

The wait of Zammad Baig is over as he has been handed over the winning prize of the competition. The first ever Pakistan idol was very happy while receiving the prize. It was dream come true for him as he was handed over cheque of Rs. 2500000 or twenty five lac rupees or 2.5 Million rupees.
Well its wasn’t the end he was also handed over a beautiful, zero meter, brand new Honda City Car. Such handsome amount and dashing car are dream of every average Pakistani. The program “Pakistan Idol” has really opened the doors of luck for Zammad Baig. Prizes were handed over to first ever Pakistan Idol by Mr. Imran Aslam who is president of Geo Network on behalf of Geo TV.
The prizes were not handed over to Zamad in office but a small function was organized for the event. The event was attended by all participants of Pakistan Idol plus few fans of Zammad were also present in the ceremony. After prize distribution, the singer was left with his fans for one hour in which he answered the questions of his fans and sung songs upon request of his fans in his melodious voice.
Geo TV has really taken a big step by introducing the version of this very big international musical contest to Pakistan. Pakistani music lovers had no choice but to watch Indian Idol or American Idol to quench their thirst but Geo TV brought the show to their country as well. Zammad Baig at the end of the show gave message to his fans and his words were
“There is no shortcut to success but hard work and determination”
Indeed this young man has worked hard to reach this place as it wasn’t only his luck that won him this competition behind this success there was hard work and many hours of practice. Above all first Pakistan Idol will be highly relived after getting the prize.
