Sc in Economics from Karachi university and has also severed as a teacher of Physics and Mathematics. He started commentating from Radio Pakistan. He was related with many newspapers in different timings. He became public figure when he joined Geo network and got very famous for his critical questions but he put those critical questions in a very sugar coated way.

He hosted Bolian Kya Baat Hy and that really made him famous. He left Geo super due to some personal reasons and has joined PTV sports and Express News.  Fans of Mirza Iqbal Baig wants to follow him but it’s very hard for them to do so because lots fo fake profiles have been made on facebook and twitter by name of Mirza Iqbal Baig.
