Mehwish Hayat is not one of those women that will shy away from speaking up against anything that is going wrong and the latest example was her take on Indian actress Priyanka Chopra. Mehwish has been speaking against the problems faced by Muslims specifically women and that has helped her achieve yet another feat as she was chosen as one of the top Muslim women that is breaking stereotype and helping in changing the society. The award of this was given to the actress by Muslim Vibe, an international publication that noticed how Mehwish has been speaking for the Muslim women.
The actress was overwhelmed for being chosen as one of the top women breaking stereotypes by Muslim Vibe. In a tweet, she expressed her gratitude saying that she is honored to be chosen as the one who is changing the world. The actress further said that she feels great to be part of the women who she looks up to and that is a defining moment of her life. Mehwish hit headlines for framing a positive image of Pakistan in front of the world and explaining it to everyone that Pakistan is a nation of love and peace and that is what every Pakistani preaches.
The international publication, Muslim Vibe, said that Mehwish Hayat is a passionate and articulate woman who is making waves through her work and activities all over the world. Mehwish has been in the news recently for all good reasons and she recently spoke to BBC as well where she said that it is important for celebrities and role models to promote peace as a lot of people follow them and what they say is heard and preached by many followers as well. We hope that Mehwish will continue to make Pakistan proud in the future as well with her work globally.
