Mehwish Hayat is a popular name in the world of entertainment. She has worked in a number of international and national films too. This year she was also nominated for the Pride of Performance too. Besides her acting services, she is committed to do something for the good of humanity too. She aims to improve the condition of those who are suffering and not getting the best facilities for their education and health. In one of the recent interviews with the international news channel BBC the actress mentioned that she is very happy to join the noble cause of spreading happiness as the goodwill ambassador of the charity organization Penny Appeal.

She added that by joining this charity organization she would be able to see the everlasting smile on the face of the young kids of Sukkur who are dreaming of a good school. By joining the cause of Penny Appeal she will be able to assist in the construction of the 6 schools. This will be a gift for almost 900 children that are so far sitting under a tree to seek the knowledge.

Mehwish added that it was a sorry sight to see young kids in such a pitiful condition. They had the enthusiasm and spirit to seek knowledge but there was nothing to help them. The trend of female education is gaining roots but the lack of basic amenities is a real threat to their dreams. She says that she dreams for the happiness of these young souls who dream high. Their smiles mean a great deal in this regard. Mehwish told the channel that she will be running in the London marathon to raise the funds for the cause.

Mehwish Hayat is the first celebrity from the South Asian region who has become part of this charity organization. It is not just the dream of Mehwish but the entire nation to see the youth progressing.
