Mathira Giving Family Priority Over Bollywood

Mathira who is one of the most controversial VJ turned actress and singer, talked about her unfulfilled projects of Bollywood. She said that she has been offered projects by Bollywood directors but she refused because of her family which is her first priority.

She also criticized Pakistani nation as she said that if Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce do dance numbers, people of Pakistan find them sexy but if the same is done by a Pakistani girl, she is titled as vulgar. She added that

Ye awam kabhi khush nahi ho sakti

یہ عوام کبھی خوش نہیں ہو سکتی

Mathira recently finished shooting of two glamor songs including “Butter Jawani” which is an upbeat song and she has been part of a limited fashionable appearance in Faisal Bukhari’s upcoming movie “Blind Love”.

She also intends to act in TV and film projects for which she is looking at scripts. This is to prove that she has acting skills. She said that

If the team is good, then the budget doesn’t bug you too much. It becomes a secondary issue

She stated that she had two Bollywood projects in pipeline but due to pregnancy and birth of her son, she did not do those two projects and they remained unfulfilled. She further emphasized that projects are there to come and go but family is always her priority.

Despite criticizing Pakistani nation, it is mandatory to mention that she still wants to continue her career in Lollywood and local television. Talking about her Eid holidays she said that

Is saal bari Eidi mili hai, mere betay ko bhi mili hai, but sab mai ne rakh li, After all I am his legal guardian

اس سال بڑی عیدی ملی ہے،میرے بیٹے کو بھی ملی ہے،لیکن سب میں نے رکھ لی
