Marina Iqbal, former Pakistani cricket team player become first Pakistan’s female cricket commentator. She made her debut During the Pakistan- Australia women’s Cricket series held in Malaysia. She was highly praised by all with her outstanding performance.

She was born on 7th March 1987 and made her debut in 2009 against Ireland Women. She was the part of Pakistan women cricket team from 2009-2015. She was the part of 34 Odis and 42 T20Is. She was a big fan of Imran Khan and want to follow him from the start. She started her career as a bowler but later she discovered her love for batting as well. She is a multi-talented girl and she showed by doing different things at the same time.  Her decision to become a commentator highly praised by her fellow crickets and other famous personalities as well.

Minister for Human Right Shireen Mazari appreciate her decision and she said that she is happy to see that our women are moving forward in the world of sports. Nain Abidi, her fellow cricketer who holds the record of being the first Pakistani female cricketer to score a century in women’s One-day internationals, wrote on her Twitter account” Way to go girl! keep up the good work. Pakistan former captain of men’s cricket team Muhammad Hafeez congratulate her and wish her good luck for her future.

Marina Iqbal thanked all each and everyone who wished her for her future. She used the social media to thank especially Gavin Scovell, who is a British TV Presenter and Commentary trainer for all the training and knowledge. In a recent interview, Marina said that all the credits go to my parents who supported my passion thought-out my cricketing career. They also support me for this decision and I am very thankful to them.
