 A number of young girls appeared for taking part in test race for recruitment in Railway Police Multan. Everyone knows that Multan is known as one of the hottest places in Pakistan.

There were two vacancies to be filled for the post of female cops. 470 girls applied for the two vacant positions and it shows that how much people are in desperate need of jobs. The unemployment rates are getting higher and higher in Pakistan and the situation has forced the women of Pakistan to find jobs in order to support their families.

During the hot weather, the test race was organized and a number of young girls fainted due to the weather without completing the test race.

Some girls were seen wearing veils and participating in the race. Some of the girls did not faint but failed to meet the target.

Inspector General of Railways Police took notice of the test being conducted in very hot weather. The test conducting officials however claimed that difficulties to be faced by the contestants were explained in the newspaper advertisement.

Not only female participants fainted but it happens usually with male participants in such test races as well. Back in 2010, a candidate applying for the post of constable in Faisalabad Police died after finishing sixth. He covered 1.5 KM distance in seven minutes. Several others fell unconscious during and after completing the race.

In Multan female cops test race, only 12 candidates were able to finish the race and thus qualified. Now out of these 12 girls, only two will get allocated on vacant posts.
