Shoaib Mansoor is coming with his third movie Verna that will release on Edi al-Fitr 2017. Shoaib Mansoor comes with leading actors only that’s why this time he has selected renowned Pakistan actress Mahira Khan. This social drama film that is being produced and written by the Shoaib Mansoor will be distributed by Hum Films. The cast of the movie has not yet been fully revealed. However, Mahira Khan and Haroon Khan will be in the lead role.

The film was announced by Shoaib Mansoor in mid of October 2016 and shooting has been started now. The story of the movie is based on the social issues regarding Pakistani women. However, it will be based on the genuine issues rather than scoring points and getting awards on a limelight topic as described by Mansoor. “This film has been written and directed by a man of Pakistan for the men of the world to listen to women. It is to encourage women to speak up. Khuda Kay Liye bol Verna”, he added.

The leading role of the movie Mahira Khan is in full swing nowadays. The actress who is already enjoying fame and acclamation for her upcoming movie Raees with King Khan is also being appraised of her work in Pakistan movies as well. The actress delivered standing performance in Bol, Bin Roye, and Ho Mann Jahaan. It will be the fourth Pakistan movie by Mahira Khan.
