Lux Style Awards Nominations of the Year 2013

We give reward to those brilliant students at school who do well in the exams; similarly, the Entertainment industry also give awards to those talented artists who win favors of viewers year by year.

Pakistani artists are no less than anyone else in the world thus to encourage them Lux Style Awards are celebrated every year. People from across the world are able to enjoy this exciting fiesta via TV channels. This year also 12^th Lux Style Awards celebration is going to take place soon. Its preparations are in full swing these days and the award nominations are officially announced this Tuesday.

There are twenty-two nominees taken from various entertainment fields like Fashion & Style, Television & Drama, Music and many more. There were three distinguished juries who chose and voted for these categories after many debates. It was a hard and challenging task indeed   to narrow down just five nominations from each category. “Film category” is not included this year, as not much work done and appreciated in movies last year.

Television industry has a tough competition this year. There are eight nominations chosen from it. They are further divided into Best thespian male/female and terrestrial and Satellite Best Drama. Viewers will decide about these categories while Jury will discuss & vote about the Best Director and Writer Award themselves.

As per awards rule, Humsafar, the super hit drama by HUM TV will remain present in its relevant categories.

Like television, fashion industry also has an intense competition. Fashion Jury selected five toppers from all categories. It is consisted of top fashion journalists and Editors from all over Pakistan. In the Fashion category, Emerging Talent has a special significance as it is comprised of new aspiring whiz-kids. Other sub-categories are a blend of old and new talent. These nominations are very interesting and suggest that there will be a healthy competition going to unveil soon on the stage of Lux Style Awards.
