Khwaja Saad Rafique Disqualified, Re-Election in NA125

Election Tribunal has adjudged Khwaja Saad Rafique disqualified as MNA from NA125 and has ordered re-election in PP155 and NA125. Khwaja Saad Rafique won the seat of NA125 while Mian Naseer won the seat of PP155 in general elections 2013.

Hamid Khan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf challenged victory of Khwaja Saad Rafique in NA125. The election tribunal in its decision said that many irregularities were found from the election crew and they did not perform their duties correctly. The decision further stated that there is no proof of systematic rigging from Khwaja Saad Rafique. Khwaja Saad Rafique has said that he will challenge the decision of election tribunal in supreme court of Pakistan and media reports are claiming that PML(N) chief Nawaz Sharif has given go ahead to Saad Rafique to challenge the decision.  

Reham Khan got the news from Twitter said that when she got the news and talked to Imran Khan about it, he didn’t say a word but just smiled. Moreover Reham Khan on her Twitter account has posted that the train is off the track now.Khwaja Saad Rafique insisted that he is not involved in rigging and it is up to the leadership of the party whether to contest in re-elections or go to Supreme Court against the decision.
