Pakistan defeated India by one wicket in Asia Cup 2014 on Sunday. Celebrations all over Pakistan were going on. Like Pakistan, university students in northern India were also celebrating Pakistan’s victory. The university has suspended over 60 students belonging to Indian-administered Kashmir.

This group of students was celebrating Pakistan’s victory in Swami Vivekanand Subharti University of Uttar Pardesh and it lead to arguments with other college mates.

Manzoor Ahmed, vice-chancellor of the university said that the suspension was merely a precautionary measure but it clearly shows that champion of Human Rights does not have tolerance. If India claims that it is the champion of Human Rights, it should show it to the world by practically implementing it.

Kashmiri students has denied that they did anything wrong. They told the media that they clapped over Pakistan’s victory, the local students got infuriated and started to damage the hall and threatened to beat them.

This was not enough as in Sri Nagar; Indian army barbarically stabbed a young Kashmiri who was celebrating Pakistan’s victory over India in Asia Cup 2014.

Kashmiri media revealed that the youth was first taken into custody, brutally tortured and then was stabbed in Budgam area of occupied Kashmir. Being transferred to Shair-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Science but he could not survive the injuries.

Indian police claims that they have lodged an FIR against three Indian army soldiers but the fact remains the same. No one has been taken into custody till yet.

India claims as the Human Rights champion on international horizon but these two acts show that India could not stand over a cricket match and would retaliate as if it were like losing a war.
