Iqra Aziz and Ahmed Ali Butt Pair Up for Jhooti

The bar of Iqra Aziz has gone up in recent times with her sensational performances in Suno Chanda and Ranjha Ranjha Kardi. The actress has been leading the charts and will now be seen next in a new drama serial called Jhooti starring next to Jawani Phir Nai Aani actor Ahmed Ali Butt. The director of the drama serial Ramish Rizvi revealed the cast of the drama and said that this will be the first time that we will be seeing Ahmed Ali Butt and Iqra Aziz work together. Ahmed and Iqra will play the character of husband and wife in the drama serial.

According to Ahmed, he will play the role of Nasir who is a middle-class salaried person and gets married to Iqra Aziz who is a liar. The story goes deep where everyone starts to get affected by the behavior of Iqra Aziz. The drama will explore the compulsive lying behavior of Iqra Aziz with some major shocks coming from her character in the drama. Iqra Aziz dreams of living a better life than she currently is living and this leads to her compulsive lying habit as well and everyone gets affected by that behavior.

Apart from Ahmed Ali Butt and Iqra Aziz, the other prominent actors in the drama include Yasir Hussain, Madia Rizvi, and Asma Abbas. The drama is written by Ali Moeen with no released date announced of it yet. Ahmed Ali Butt has been seen in comical roles mainly and it will be interesting to see how he choose the drama role of a middle-class man working hard to make both ends meet. Iqra, on the other hand, has already won millions of fans with her acting in her recent drama serials including the latest Suno Chanda.
