Bollywood film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ starring Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai made it to the screens worldwide, but not in Pakistan due to the high tension raise between Pakistan and India after Uri Attack.

ADHM features two Pakistanis in it but even then it couldn’t release in Pakistan. Pakistani actor Imran Abbas plays cameo in the film and Fawad Khan plays a short but crucial role in the film.

Talking about the film not releasing in Pakistan, Imran Abbas talking to BBC told: “I am sad about ADHM not being released in Pakistan”,

“My role is short but interesting and funny. The shooting was in London a year ago.Karan Johar and I are very good friends and since he is such good movie director, so I couldn’t refuse the role. Sometimes you have to work as a guest star for friends. Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt have also appeared as guest starts in the film and even though Fawad Khan has a short role in the film but it is still more than that of the other guest actors.” he further added while telling about his and Fawad’s role in the film.

“I have great regret about the current hostile situation because it is only artists who were improving the relations and with initiatives like Zee Zindagi, which showed Pakistani dramas in India and how Indian dramas were shown in Pakistan, these things increase the love and affection between both nations. Dialogues revolving around love should be conducted which are only possible through our art and exchanging of it” he further said.
