Imam Khana Kaa’ba to Visit Pakistan for Fight Against Polio

Government of Pakistan, in order to continue the campaign against Polio successfully, has invited Imam Khana Kaa’ba Shaikh Abdur Rehman Al Sudais to visit Pakistan.

Imam Khana Kaa’ba will visit different areas of Pakistan as part of the polio campaign in Pakistan. Government is struggling to conduct the campaign against polio properly. World Health Organisation is working very hard along with the Government of Pakistan but desired results are not being delivered yet.

Whole world is cleared of the polio virus except Pakistan, Nigeria and Afghanistan. Main reasons due to which Pakistan have not yet got rid of this virus is because of the propaganda that polio drops are haram and due to this propaganda many polio workers are attacked and killed.

FATA and Karachi are the two most unsafe areas for the polio workers. Punjab and Baluchistan are not safe either. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is one of the provinces facing the worst condition regarding polio. Provincial government has arranged a training course titled “Sehat ka Insaaf” for the teachers but they were attacked. One of the attackers was killed in retaliation and the other was injured.

The question here is that these people who do not hesitate to kill innocent children and women, will they respect Imam Khana Kaa’ba? Will Imam Khana Kaa’ba be able to visit the dangerous areas in Karachi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa? Certainly Imam Khana Kaa’ba will not be able to go to dangerous areas as any attack on him will initiate an international crisis.

It is really interesting that what results the visit of Imam Khana Kaa’ba Shaikh Abdur Rehman Al Sudais will yield for Pakistan in the fight against polio.
