Hum TV Won 5 Major Lux Style Awards

The most popular TV channel Hum TV has really came up with some quality programs and drama serials over the years, but last year Hum TV broadcast some extra ordinary drama serials and programs. The efforts of Hum TV have been well recognized in Lux style awards this year. Hum TV won 5 major awards in this award show. It was the 12th Lux Style awards function and was the most colourful event of Lux style awards series so far. It is worth mentioning here that Hum TV has won 5 major awards in last year’s Lux style awards as well and have repeated history this year as well. The 5 major awards were best satellite play, best female actor, best male actor, best director and best OST.

Now you will be wondering who were named for these awards, as we know that last year the biggest success of Hum TV was drama series Humsafar that blown away all other drama series that time and Humsafar was craze was seen every home and that reflected in Lux style awards as well. 4 out of 5 major awards that Hum TV won was from Humsafar drama series as it won the best satellite play and Momina Duraid collected award. Best female actor went to Mahira Khan for Humsafar, best male actor went to Fawad Khan for Humsafar and best director award went to Sarmad Khoosat for humsafar. The remaining one major award of best OST went to Ali Zafar for drama serial Zindagi Gulzar Hy which proved to be another big hit this year. Hum TV literally clean sweeped the Lux style awards which is considered the most authenticated awards in Pakistan. Hum TV has shown class in the programs and drama series and no doubt that is why Hum claimed 5 major awards.
