Shaukat Khanum is the largest cancer hospital and research center in Pakistan that needs the donations of the wealthy and capable persons. Almost 75% patients of the hospital get the free treatment along with medicines and other facilities. Shaukat Khanum started its services from Lahore. The other center is under construction in Peshawar, and feasibility report for setting up in Karachi is also under process.

The hospital offers the free services to those who can’t afford to pay their bills. The revenue is always spent on extending the facilities. Zakat and another kind of donations are the biggest sources of collections for Shaukat Khanum.
