Anonymous group of Hackers attacked on US Justice Department website for Aaron Swartz
Recently the most shocking news has arised about the hackers attack to the US Justice Department Website. According to Washington news hackers of unknown group took over the official site of the US Justice Department and claiming that they want to show their sympathy for the late computer prodigy Aaron Swartz, who was internet activist and committed suicide in the mid-January. As a result of this attach site was blogged on Saturday. In the month of April, Swartz was to have appeared before the court for the facing the trial for his involvement for the downloading number of important articles from the online archive JSTOR, which is company. According to the hackers that their attack is the part of their operation and in future they will do such type of attacks on the Government departments, offices. They claimed that they are planning for attacking to the number of other government systems and threatening that they will release the information for public as a result of other attacks. According to hackers statement, they said that time is now come to show to the US Justice Department the true meaning of Justice and tell them what is the real feeling of helplessness.
Hackers actually show their reaction by posting the video online in which they criticized on government regarding prosecution of Swartz. It has been reported regarding the punishment that Swartz had for maximum sentence of 31 years in prison and also fine about 1 million dollars. Number of times there is talk between the Swartz attorney and the Federal prosecutors for minimizing of prison time for the Swartz for only 6 months if he pleads guilty to all 13 counts against him. Now this case is ended with no case as Swartz committed a suicide. As a result of this suicide there rise lot of questions as this case is now become so much important. After the attack of attackers on the site Richard McFeely, who is bureaus criminal of the cyber services branch said that the FBI is investigating the attack and we will soon reach on the conclusion. He said we will take this case as a criminal investigation and we will use all sources that we have. He also said that we will take this case as a serious issue as it is totally illegal when someone access to government agency network and to personal network without any permission. He said this in his emailed statement.
