Government to Sponsor Tech Based Ideas

Ever since Fawad Chaudhry has taken over the role of Minister of Science and Technology, we have been listening to quite a few things lately. The minister recently announced that they will be holding the first ever Science fair of Pakistan in August this year. Now Fawad Chaudhry has come forward to support young tech entrepreneurs by providing loans for assistance. The minister in a tweet announced that if you have any technology-based idea and are looking to get a sponsorship, then the government is ready to provide financial assistance if your idea is selected and approved.

Fawad Chaudhry said that they will provide 70-100% loan to the people for executing the tech-based business idea. People who have a business idea related to technology can get themselves registered after which an evaluation will be done for their project. The evaluation phase will take place in July before the Pakistan Science Fair in August. The main reason for providing loans to tech-based ideas is to bring in more and more innovative ideas from the people and help them to get these ideas realized in this fast evolving tech era. The registrations of the ideas will open in July.

The last month has been quite an exciting one in terms of technology in Pakistan with Fawad Chaudhry doing his level best to encourage tech-based ideas and solutions in the country. The Pakistan Science Fair will also showcase any new technology or innovation that anyone has come across and can be disruptive in the future. Steps like these by the Science and Technology Ministry will help the youth of Pakistan and will encourage them to come up with new ideas. These ideas will also have the financial backing of the government and will hence give people plenty of opportunities to excel.
