Free Education for Sikh Children in KPK

The government under PTI has emphasized protecting the rights of the common man. The government wants to establish a system where every single citizen feels free to enjoy the basic necessities of life. Every citizen wants to have a protected life. The government wants to ensure that all these basic blessings are rendered to the citizens without the discrimination of the family, class, creed, religion, and status. It is the right of every citizen of Pakistan to get the best of life. This right cannot be snatched by anyone in the country. Not even the government can deprive the non-Muslim or the minority citizens from their fundamental rights.

Considering this goal of the government, the provincial governments are instructed to take up the task. The priority among these rights is education. It is because education is the key to open all the doors of success and prosperity. The nation that pays attention to education is always the victorious one in the long run. Pursuing the goal of prosperity designed by the Federal government the provincial government of KPK has taken a revolutionary step. This is regarding the Sikh community living in the province. The Sikhs top the list among the non-Muslim community in terms of their population and number in the province. They can be seen running businesses and institutions throughout the province.

Considering their contribution and the increasing number the government has taken a revolutionary step by introducing the educational reforms for the community. In pursuing this goal the KP government has announced a handsome amount of Rs. 5 million for the purpose of model school specifically for the said community. In this way, they want to ensure that even the deserving students of the community will receive the best education which is their fundamental right. The school will be set up in the provincial capital Peshawar and will be equipped with the best facilities to extend the best education to the children of the Sikh community.

As per the plans, the school will be set up in the Sikh populated area called Mohallah Jogan Shah. The school will be built with the outclass educational facilities and the best thing about the school would be that the kids will receive the best education without paying the cost. The school administration will include the educated and the experienced elderly from the Sikh community. In this way, the community can benefit a great deal.

The Sikh community not just in KPK but all over the country has welcomed this step. They are thankful to the government that they have taken this revolutionary step.
