Facebook friendship resulted in kidnap of 13 years old Mustafa and now once again the same has happened with two girls.

Ayesha who belongs to a rich family and she is a resident of Old Shuja Abad started friendship with 28 years old boy named Jamal on Facebook.

Ayesha’s friend Tehreem was added by a guy named Bilal on Facebook as well. Ayesha and Tehreem were invited by Bilal and Jamal to a meeting in private residence. Both of them are students of private college. They went to meet the guys instead of college where they were taken by the guys to a village near Multan then Lahore and then finally to Rawalpindi.

This is when their real faces came out of veil and they demanded 4 million rupees as ransom for both the girls. The criminals Jamal and Bilal intended to sell both the girls in case the ransom was not delivered to them.

When the girls did not return to their homes and ransom demands were received by their parents, they contacted Police. Multan CIA initiated the search operation and in cooperation with Lahore and Rawalpindi Police, they successfully traced the kidnappers and found the girls from Rawalpindi.

2 of the kidnappers were arrested while 3 of them fled. Both the arrested kidnappers have revealed that they used Facebook as a medium where they carved friendship with girls having rich family backgrounds with intentions to kidnap them for ransom. Police is further investigating and it is expected that more revelations could be sought out of these criminals.
