Dukhtar Potential Block Buster of Pakistan Cinema

Geo and ARY are not only competing each other on small screen but they are proving to be biggest competitors of each other on big screen or silver screen as well. We saw ARY films coming up with Waar that break the record of highest business by any Pakistani movie and proved to be most successful film. Geo films has also produced some quality movies for Pakistani cinema.
But now they have came up with a potential block buster movie with name of Dukhtar which means daughter. This is Pakistan’s first road trip thriller movie and is a joint venture of Geo films and The Crew Films. The poster of the movie the tag line is “A mother kidnaps her own ten year daughter to save her from marriage and makes a run for the road. A relentless run for them begins.”
The line tell all about the movie but its worth mentioning here that her daughter was going to be married to Sardar i.e. president of the tribe. The official trailer of the movie is out and it says a lot about the quality of the movie. The movie is directed as well as written by Afia Nathaniel and the cast of the movie is Ajab Gul, Mohib Mirza, Samiya Mumtaz, Omair Rana, Samina Ahmad Adnan Shah Tipu.
The film is produced by Afia Nathaniel, Zambeel Films, Muhammad Khalid Ali, The Crew Films, Infinitum Productions and Mint productions. It’s a heavy budgeted movie. Soundtrack of the movie is given by Sahir ali bagga and Peter Nashel and other Vocalists of the movie are Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali, Sara Raza Khan, Hina Nasrullah. The presence of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shafqat Amanat Ali says a lot about the music of the movie. The film will be distributed by Geo Films.
