British Airways to Resume Operations in Pakistan After 10 Years

The wait of more than 10 years finally comes to an end as British Airways announced in its press release that they are resuming operations in Pakistan. The operations will resume on June 2^nd, with three flights per week scheduled to London’s Heathrow Airport. According to the press release, final touches are being done in order to ensure the smooth start of the operations in Pakistan. Security preparations for the IIA have already been completed ahead of the resumption of services of British Airways. The airline hopes that the customers from both Pakistan and the UK will like the services that they have to offer.

The British Airways will be providing an enhanced experience to the customers including halal meal option. The airline has already made sure that none of its sauces will contain either pork or alcohol. Customers will be able to order from a wide range of menu that will include vegetarian options as well. The airline will also provide complimentary drinks and food along with an option of free seat selections a day before the departure of the flight. The hand baggage allowed in long haul flights of British Airways is one large cabin bag and one handbag.

British Airways will use its newest aircraft Boeing 787 Dreamliner for flights to and from Pakistan. These new aircraft are 20 percent more fuel efficient and have also got bigger windows and in-flight entertainment system. The airline is also looking to hire people who know and speak Urdu so that proper communication can be built with the customers on the flight. The return fare between UK and Pakistan will cost £1,499 in the World Club, £709 in World Traveller Plus, and £448 in the World Traveller. These prices can go down by using the Avios part payment as well.
