Asia’s Singing Superstar to on air from 31st Oct: Ahsan Khan as host, Shafqat Amanat and Shankar Mahadevan as judges

Cricket and Music have always been playing pivotal role in creating a friendly atmosphere between both the arch rivals India and Pakistan. In the current situation it seems that there will be no cricket between the Asian Giants, but yet we have something big for the Asian rivals.

Asia’s Singing Superstar heading your way !

The music show will be displaying the talent from India, Pakistan and UAE and will be on-aired from 31st October, just 2 days away from you. The contest will be held on neutral venue, Dubai, which is similar to the previously held music show Sur Kshetra in 2012.

Co-Hosts: Ahsan Khan and Shweta Pandit

Judges: Shafqat Amanat Ali and Shankar Mahadevan

It seems that show pattern will be quite similar to the Sur Kshetra, as in Asia’s Singing Superstar there will be two teams, India and Pakistan, which will be mentored by the judges.

• Team Pakistan by Shafqat Amanat Ali
• Team India by Shankar Mahadevan

Although, the pattern of the show can’t be confirmed as talent of UAE will be also taking part in the competition.

Auditions

The auditions have taken place earlier in September this year in the respective countries. The UAE auditions were judged by Shafqat Amanat Ali.

The 16-contestants will be in run for the title of Asia’s Singing Superstar.

Whats special about the show?

Many will be terming it as the clone of Sur Kshetra, but not to forget Asia’s Singing Superstar is presented by the makers of worldwide acclaimed ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.’
