Amir`s Dhoom 3 beats SRK`S Chennai Express

Amir Khan once again topped the charts! Before the release, there was a lot of fuss about Dhoom 3 vs. Chennai Express. Well the results are now visible. The Amir Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Dhoom 3 has already grossed more than 110 crores in its first 4 days. The total collection also includes the collection from Tamil and Telugu version. This sleek thriller action film officially beat Shah Rukh Khan`s Chennai Express. Dhoom 3 is now the fastest movie to enter Rs 100 crore club in first week.

The movie officials have predicted that Dhoom 3 will successfully bag 250 crores by the end of this week. Dhoom 3 released on December 20 has already displayed on 4500+ Screens and earned Rs 36 crores on its first day, Rs 33 crores on the second day and Rs 38 crores on the third day respectively. Directed by Vijay Krishna and being the official third installment in the franchise, Dhoom 3 opened with mixed reviews but with the clever opening close to Christmas, New Year and Holidays. Doom 3 is doing well and is expected to bag a lot more in upcoming few days.

According to a report, Amir Khan`s new movie have already booked 5000+ seats for Christmas. Adding up, the Amir Katrina duo is encouraging advance bookings as Rs 3.5 crore advance booking have already been made.  The movie opened with Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions at the official launch. Surprisingly the Katrina Kaif`s new movie have already booked more than 50% shows in Chennai. As Christmas Eve is on ahead of us, half of the bookings have already been made and there will be 12-15 shows in the next week. As the movie is expected to do well even after the first two weeks, therefore Cinemas will continue to play it as long as audience will appreciate. One way or another, it seems Amir have balanced the scale on behalf of Three Idiots with Chennai Express!
