Latest in Pakistan World Cup 2015 final squad comprising 15 names might not include some big names of Pakistan cricket.

According to news reports Umar Gul due to injury has not been included in the final squad of 15 players. In addition Umar Akmal and Kamran Akmal due to their poor form off late are also not a part of the final 15 players.

Shoaib Malik who after marrying Sania Mirza has rarely played cricket for Pakistan at international level has also been left out.

Instead of the above mentioned players, Asad Shafique, Muhammad Rizwan and Junaid Khan will take their places. Saeed Ajmal due to his new bowling action has not been selected in the 15-member squad.

Muhammad Rizwan is an upcoming wicket keeper batsman who hails from Peshawar. He will try to justify his position in world cup 2015 by performing well.

Pakistan Cricket Board is expected to announce the 15-member squad for World Cup 2015 on Tuesday. International Cricket Council (ICC) has given the deadline of January 7 for the submission of the final 15-member squad for the World Cup.

Pakistan will be playing its first match against India on 15th of February 2015 which will start at 8:20 AM Pakistan Standard Time. World Cup will start on 13th of February (14th of February in Pakistan).
