Aashiana Housing Scheme 2014

Government of Punjab has once again come up with another housing project for lower and middle class residents of Punjab. The scheme is designed to make things easier for lower and middle class persons to make their own houses. The Housing project has been named Aashiana Housing Project.  The eligibility criteria for applying for the housing scheme is.

1.    Those who want to apply should have domicile of Punjab.

2.    The applicant should have income less than 50,000/- per month.

3.    The applicant should not have his/her own house and should be living in rented house.

4.    Age of the applicant should not be more than 55 years.

5.    Applicant shouldn’t have any other house or plot form Government of Punjab.

Payment Criteria:

1. 25 percent down payment is mandatory after the verification of particulars.
2. Rest of the payments should be made installments of maximum ten years.

Possession of House:

Possession should be given at any time between 1.5 years to 4 years.
The Housing Scheme will have following Internal infrastructure to cater for all the needs of decent and modern living:

1. Water supply
2. Sewerage
3. Carpeted roads
4. Drainage
5. Electrification
6. School
7. Open Spaces/Landscaping/Parks
8. Community Centers
9. Health Clubs
10. Playing Grounds
11. Entertainment
12. Food Chains/Stalls
13. Management of Schemes by the community itself – Community
14. Executive Committee
15. Commercial Area
16. Graveyard

Payment Plan:

1. 25% Advance, remaining amount to be paid in easy installments.
2. Subsidy by the Government of Punjab on monthly installments.
