Aamir Liaquat To Host Ramadan Transmission at Express

Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain earned his repute as running Ramadan shows on Geo Television and since future of Geo is unpredictable this year so the reports are all over the social media that he is leaving the sinking ship Geo and heading to Express in order to host Ramadan transmissions this year.

Neither Aamir Liaquat Hussain nor the two channels in question have confirmed this rumor yet but it seems that rumors have more to offer as the name of the Ramadan transmission at Express has been titled ‘Ramadan Pakistan’. But the question to be asked here is that name of the program doesn’t confirm that Aamir Liaquat Hussain will be hosting the transmission.

Rumors of top TV anchors of Geo switching to other channels were also circulating in past and some of them proved right and some of them proved wrong but this really is huge setback for Geo news because Aamir Liaquat Hussain is not only an anchor but he is also the Vice President of Geo TV Network.

Aamir Liaquat Hussain has been termed ‘pious entertainer’ at social media by some and he had appealed the cable operators few days ago to show Geo TV channel during his program on Shab-e-Mairaj so that the people could benefit from the programs during the holy month of Ramadan which is in the month of July.

During the same program he told his viewers that

Mera or app ka rishta kisi channel ka mohtaj nahi hai, mai jahan bhi jaun app ka aur mera ye taluq qaim rahega (My relationship with my viewers is not restricted to a particular TV channel, your love and likeness will remain the same for me, wherever I move)

This indicates that there might be some truth in the rumors and Aamir Liaquat Hussain might move to Express TV this Ramadan to host their Ramadan transmissions named ‘Ramadan Pakistan’.
